There are a few locations in Melbourne has nice authentic Vietnamese food such as Footscray, Richmond and Springvale.

This day, I’m here at Springvale. If you see this arch, you have come to the right place. No, we are are not at Chinatown. The arch at Chinatown will me smaller.

Pork / Chicken Spring Roll

You can either order 10 of each or a mix of 5 each. It’s crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside, accompanied with lettuce and mint leaves on the side. It goes well with the sour sauce that the provided.

Pho Ga (Rice noodle soup with chicken) (A$10.00)

If you’re not used to the Western portion, it’s really big as compared to what you get in Malaysia or Singapore. Its smooth rice noodle with chicken breast meat topped with onions, spring onions and shallot swimming in tasty soup. I love the soup which gives a happy tingle to your mouth. Definitely a “want-more” if your stomach could have more.

They serve numerous types of pho, Vietnamese rice noodle with beef or chicken, soup or dry, and other side dishes. Pho bo (Rice noodle with beef) would be the most authentic of pho. If you take beef, you should try that. “Special” would mean other than meat, it also comes with some other parts of the cow or pig.
